This is the one fellas. If we take care of business and put the poor horney ones out of their misery, it might give us a hint of good things to come. If we come out flat and lose, bad juju's, men.

A strong victory might put Mr. Doughtery on the extreme hot seat.........

Talk amongst yourselves........

must win. We laid an egg last time we went to Fort Worth. I cant remember if that was last year or two years ago now..? In any case, I think we should play TCU home and home every year in December even though we are in different conferences. Utep and New Mexico State do it. Its a natural and much more interesting than all the Grambling and Savanah State games that we both play.

We need to kill the froggies..especially on the down year. At home, no excuses.

Any reason why we don't play New Mexico in the non-conference? That would seem logical to me.

Under - no students back yet on either side, Friday night games are a problem for us, and they are already dejected in Ft. Worth - I'm guessing 4,000 max

We win by 8

No offense mrdel, but I will never understand the appeal of watching a team that's not your own. If it's not my high school, SMU, one of the Dallas pro teams, or the US Olympic Team I could not care less. Life's way too short.

I agree somewhat, although I do plan on watching the USC/UT game and have no love for either. It will be a good game. If I were in Dallas, I would be at the basketball game. I am just citing reasons that people may give for not going to the BB game. Please realize that we need the support of citizens of Dallas, over and above the students and Alumni of SMU. We need to build reasons for them to come to the games. Winning team is #1 but good marketing is also needed to back that up.

if activity on this board is any indication, the crowd will not be great tonight. However, I did think the Harvard crowd was our best of the year even without the students. Hopefully that carries over, plus some.
