I see you lurking. Give us your impressions of Bamba Fall. He can't be as useless as you expected.

I've been sick-couldn't even get out of bed to watch at home. Don't think I should comment on how he played. I will comment however that SMU should have done what most schools in the country would have done and used at least 1 scholarship on a JUCO Center or PF last year and that this season will likely be a disaster because that was not done.

They probable planned on that but they signed with Marshall or La Tech instead.

I don't disagree with the juco part, we needed to capitalize on Hops senior year, but not sure what constitutes a disaster. Getting some young guys ready for the future is a good thing, no matter how much frustration with the past we feel. I still maintain that as the season goes on Morris and Fall can offset the losses of Castro and Simpson and actually give us a better chance to beat a good team or two. Dez is not as dymamic as I hoped, but is a quality player. Last night we looked like a better, more potent team than we were last year.

Every year this program fails to make the NCAA tournament is a disaster. SMU is a great university located in a large city with some of the most talented high school players in the nation in its backyard. The fact that this program has not been to the NCAA tournament in over a decade is unacceptable.

Please tell us something we don't already know. The fact the administration doesn't see the potential is a disgrace to the loyal fans.
