The play of Morris is also encouraging. Two things stand out about his game, he plays smart and shows toughness. After picking up four fouls early, he was able to contribute late in the game without fouling out. And I noticed during the last couple of home games that he will not back down from anyone. Again tonight he was battling down low and mouthing with one of the ECU guys. I love that. We need some attitude on this squad. Nice game Big Mo.

I don't know if we are talking about the same guy, but the games I've seen him play he has sucked. Pearson has impressed me and Bamba can block as good Dikembe, just needs to learn the finger wag.

Morris is a freshman, of course he has some work to do. Compare him to other guys as freshmen though. He is light years ahead of Rack as a freshman. Now Pearson, he had a good game tonight, but he should be playing more consistent than he is as an upperclassman.

You are either crazy or drunk. Morris has been a BIG bright spot on this team and is going to be very good player.

Pearson has impressed you??? He has played way below what he played like last year.

I wasn't drunk when I posted and I'd like to think I'm not crazy. I've only been able to attend two games this year and those were TCU and Oklahoma. In those two games Pearson played well and Morris looked like he belonged on the girls squad. I had high hopes for Miller considering how you guys were gushing about him before the games I saw. In the TCU game Pearson had 7 points, 7 rebs. (5 off.) and 2 blocks. More than anything he was hustling when he was in there and making things happen. Maybe because it was the worst basketball game ever played the bright spots weren't that bright, but my friends and I all left impressed with his play. His stats were lackluster at the Oklahoma game (4pts., 3reb.), but I still felt that he was getting to loose balls and making things happen. Morris put up 0 pts. 0 rebs. and 2 pts. 1 reb., respectively. So forgive me for saying he sucked. In my short sample size, Pearson has played better and all other things being equal at least he hustled.
