Your team is getting better. Fall makes a huge difference down low. Tubbs had a great game plan to stop Tofi and Williams. He decided to give us the perimeter and UTEP was able to take advantage. Same happened to us agaist Georgetown. We totally shut down their 7'1 leading scorer, and another guy torched us with 6 three pointers. Anyway, I like the way your guys handled the crowd(which was very loud last night). People in the Dallas area need to support you guys. You have a good team that will beat somebody at the top of the conference. I bet you all will give UAB absolute fits later this year. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I think your team is pretty darn good. I am happy UTEP is done playing you all for the season(until perhaps the conference tourney). I wouldn't want to face you all a third time. Good luck the rest of the way.

Honestly, the refs were not great. But that went both ways. Hopkins looked like he travelled a bunch of times and got away with it. Also, they missed an easy, easy goaltending call that would have given UTEP a 3 point play in the final 3 minutes. So, Tubbs probably had a gripe, but he did not get hometowned. The refs were not doing UTEP any favors, either.

That is probably a fair assessment.
