Mustangs need to take care of business tonight. Has anyone been to New Orleans around the Tulane area? Anything badly damaged in the Uptown area?

I'd say we should win this game, but how did Tulane beat Rice by 17 in Houston the other day? That scares me a little bit, they must have some potential.

I thought it would be a cake walk but seeing the Rice score I am feeling the same way, we'll see...

I dont think it will be a cake walk. SMU is favored by only 1 point.

Some friends who went down to New Orleans for the womens game 3 weeks ago said there was signifigant damage in the area around Tulane, and it was almost impossible to find a hotel. Almost all available rooms were booked by people working on the clean-up. Tulane has re-opened, though, and appears to be functioning.

Apparently, New Orleans was hit by tornadoes again this morning. Amongst other things it appears the airport was badly damaged. I hope our team got back alright.

Like that city hasn't suffered enough. My thoughts are with everyone in New Orleans .... still.

That is awful. Surely the team left early this morning or last night after the game.

After the way they played the first half, they deserved to walk home. Bobby Knight probably would have made them do it, too.
