Mydrel - you are in a great mood today.

Are you re-visiting the 70's today. Or still happy from the Super Bowl party.

Bus, please edit how you said that. You'll have people here expecting to get Arthur and actually mad/disappointed when it doesnt happen. Arthur should be considered as some type of a windfall only.

The odds of arthur landing here is about as good as Sasser resurfacing in the NBA

Why not. DA mentioned SMU twice just last week. If COULD happen.... I think he likes Jimmy Tubbs and how much better would it be than be THE man at SMU.
OK - that is the given.
What we make NIT his first year and then compete for C-USA championship and the NCAA's the next.
What are your thoughts?

I was just exaggerating about the sasser think. I do think we have a chance at Arthur and I think that chance has increased dramatically ever since Bamba has starting playing like a future NBA prospect. Whether that chance has increased from 5-10% or from 25-50% I don't know.

I am just enjoying the day and trying not to take any of this too serious. I had my fifth grandbaby added to the brood 2 days ago. I have decided I will give $100.00 a year per grandchild to the Mustang Club. My donation has already been sent so I hope that I am done for this year. I had to give up that 70's stuff before I even began. I am looking forward to a good football season next year, followed by a great recruiting class, and then a tougher and more appropriate schedule in which we can be successful, folowed by a move up in status for the Mustangs. This will all come about with the assistance of a great AD hire that I am counting on tremendously. None of this is appropriate for the basketball board but I thought I owuld answer your question.

Those two together would be great in the post, by the way we have Hopkins on our team who is with out a doubt an NBA prospect. Hopefully the Mustangs finish strong, I think they will.

No offense to Hopkins, because he has been one of the bright spots on the team the last few years, but I don't think he is going to make it as a pro. I hope I am wrong.
If it really is down to KU and Indiana for Arthur, with us as a longshot backup, and Indiana fires Davis so Arthur doesn't want to go there, does he really want to go and sit behind the 2 sophomores, and 3 freshman that started and beat OU the other night for Kansas? Is he gonig to be able to come in and take a spot away from one of those guys in their starting rotation or is he going to be a back up the next few years. If he is going to be a backup, maybe that will convince him he needs to consider other options.....

There is something to be said for staying close to home. Why else would DA even look at Baylor?
Maybe there is some thread we can pull with this guy viz. Vincent-Bobby Chase or B-Hop, R-Hop.
We have to outthink and outwork if we are going to out-recruit.

I have no idea.
But it's not like Waco is around the corner from .... anything. Or appealing.
