SMU sophomore post Janielle Dodds and senior forward Sarah Davis earned All-Conference USA honors, as announced Wednesday by C-USA. Conference USA award winners were selected by a panel including the league's head coaches, sports information directors and media representatives.

Dodds was named first team all-conference for the second consecutive season while Davis was selected to the league's third team. Dodds averages 15.5 points per game (fifth in C-USA) and 8.3 rebounds per game (third) while posting 11 double-doubles during the season. Davis earns her first All-Conference selection, averaging nearly 10 points per game and over six rebounds per game. SMU's all-time shot blocker,
Davis ranks third in the league in blocked shots.

Tulsa's Jillian Robbins was named C-USA's Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Freshmen of the Year selections were Kendra Reed (Southern Miss) and Jasmine Young (East Carolina). The Sixth Player of the Year honor went to Memphis' Paris Leonard. C-USA Coach of the Year was Tulsa's Charlene Thomas-Swinson.

Hats off to the two post players! I think some of the guards like Kendall, Shead, Katy Cobb and Katie Gross have had a good year as well. Now they just need to take care of business in the tournament this weekend!

Great Job Ladies
