....much delight this evening as I sat in Calapari's joint in Memphis, jam freakin' packed with the most arrogant, spoiled, childish people on earth, as UAB donwed the "we are toooooo good for C-USA, we should be in the ACC, bring on the Portland Trailblazers" Memphis STATE fans.....nice W UAB, hope your coach lamds the Mizzou job....soooooo nice to watch the NIT wannabe Memphis fans....long live Rod Hampton. See ya in Memphis.,....this is anybody's tourney!!!!

I'd love to see the Memphis Comm. App. article about the UAB game. Anyone able to post it? Were they sorry for talking CUSA trash earlier this year? :D

the truth is that Memphis wouldnt even be in consideration for a #1 seed had they had to slug it out in the Big East or Big 10. Memphis is a good team, but they would probably be top 15 playing in a big league instead of having the guady record in Cusa and being top 5. Playing in a power league really helps the bubble teams, not the top 20 caliber teams. Gonzaga is better off where it is than it would be in the Pac 10. Memphis and its fans might be careful what they wish for.
