oh oh, I know what will help, if we cut off all funds from the athletic department, and stop going to the games until they improve....that'll show them and they finally get their act together

We have Moody. Once we show we can win, then build some facilities like other schools. I just expect results.

We need to model our program on the mid-majors.

Not if you listen to some folks around here. They think with new facilities we will get the kids that go to UT or the NBA.

1) Wins
2) Attendance
3) Competitive Athletic Model

This is the best comment I have seen since coming on this site. That is so true!

Actually it would go:

Competitive Model => recruiting => wins => attendance => mustang club cash

..but I still think we have to have new practice facilities to recruit better regardless of what McClown says.

If by UNC, you mean Carolina, it doesn't get much nicer than the Dean Dome. When you walk into their basketball office, it is like walking into Exxon Corporate Headquarters. You can't be a recruit, visit, and not be overwhelmed. Animated displays, interactive displays and a fair bit of hardware and memorabilia collected over the years. History on display coupled with opulence.

Good gosh this thread has ADD. Can anyone answer the man's question? No more tangents needed..

no one has responded because the known prospects are pretty dim-so unless Tubbs picks up a surprise don't hold your breathe for any players that could help in the next few years.I think signing date is next week and there is very little word on the recruiting services who SMU could be targeting other than Brian Morris'high school teammate from Oregon a 6-6-6-8 kid who weighs about 250 but apparently with very raw offensive skills.
