excuse my ignorance - what are the rules if the coach leaves before you start school and you have already committed? can you drop and transfer?[/quote]
The letter of intent binds a player to a school, not the coach. It doesnt matter what the coach does, if a player has signed the letter he's committed to that school.

a commitment can be changed-but a signed written Letter of Intent can't without losing eligibility.
