OU investigations might date back since Tubbs?

Its been alleged that the recent ongoing NCAA investigation of the OU basketball program date back to when Tubbs was there.

Calvin Sampson, former OU head coach, left and is now the head coach at Indiana.

It is believed that Tubbs commited recruiting violations while he was an assistant under Sampson dating back 4 years ago.

This was more of an incriminating factor for Tubbs in the eyes of AD Copeland. Copeland should not be able to rule on a final decision until both investigations are over. Copeland used this information given to him as more reason to fire Tubbs. Not to go along with the burgers and soap he bought for players.

So maybe SMU did to the right thing in there mind by letting Tubbs go

However, it is unfair for all these accusations to be made until the NCAA has ruled a final verdict on what really happend in the SMU case and in the OU case.

Speaking of unfair .... where do you get some of these tidbits? Right or wrong, Copeland doesn't have to do gear any decision around what happens at OU, if he thinks there's enough evidence here to justify his decision.
