investigation is complete, huh?

Turner says in the paper today that SMU has finished its investigation! So if the probe is complete, where are the meaty violations that warrant firing? Where the hell are they? Is it the assitant coach who provided tutoring? Thats it? Since they have named specific violations (burger, practice time, soap, mild tutoring), and the investigation is over, shouldn't we assume they have named them all? Thats it? The travesty of this is probably even worse than I feared.

I believe the NCAA investigation is still ongoing. As long as this is the case I do not envision any further details coming out. I would imagine once the NCAA is done with their investigation we will know more.

HF - dont be such a drama queen. As long as their is an ongoing investigation there will be no announcement as to the real issues. Its not that hard to figure.

Not being in the area, I miss out on a lot of what is actually happening, but I fail to see how SMU brought this on themselves. Coaches come to SMU knowing that the school won't tolerate any breaking of the rules, whether minor or not. I realize that Tubbs death is by a million cuts, but he knew the rules when he signed his contract, and he decided to overlook the rules. The question I wonder is why he did this? Why did he make the decision to break rules when he knew that the punishment would be severe?
