caught the tail end of a Mark Cuban interview on Espn radio. He was pushing Ro Blackman for the SMU job. This was floated last time around too. Not sure Ro is our guy, but I guess we could do alot worse. Eaststangs 95 year old high school coach comes to mind.

I second that. Hell, build an arena, and SMU should name it after him.
It makes no sense to me that SMU doesn't have its collective fundraising head up Cuban's hind end. He is scrappy and cutting edge, and a little rebellion now and then is a good thing.

For a big enough donation, name the practice facility and the new arena after him, and for all I care, change the big sign on Bishop Boulevard to SOUTHERN CUBAN UNIVERSITY. (While we're at it, it would be fine to have the Cuban Natatorium, Cuban Soccer Complex and the Cuban Horseshoe at the south end of Ford Stadium.)
But it needs to be a really big check.

Interesting idea on Blackman. Does he have any experience though besides the two years or so he has spent as a mavs assistant? I imagine he could recruit the area nicely though.
