SMU's Copeland returns, says he feels great

UNIVERSITY PARK – SMU athletic director Jim Copeland revealed that he took a medical leave of absence because he had renal cancer. Copeland had surgery to remove his right kidney and was told last Friday that he's cancer-free. Copeland started his medical leave in February and returned to work full-time last week.
