You think there is any chance we can get him to lose that "Copeland" new SMU font/logo? Our traditional lettering was classier. This new cr@p even more seems to mark us as a lower-tier program. As long as we're trying to return to prominence....

What else will Orsini change? What's next?
You think there is any chance we can get him to lose that "Copeland" new SMU font/logo? Our traditional lettering was classier. This new cr@p even more seems to mark us as a lower-tier program. As long as we're trying to return to prominence.... ![]() Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!
The logo looks very NFLEurope, but I heard the school paid a lot to some advertising firm to come up with that thing. I highly doubt it's going anywhere.
As for other changes we might see from Steve-O: • Cleverly disguised elevator shoes for the volleyball and basketball teams, so everyone can spike or dunk with ease. • SMU goal kicks (that's soccer) will be taken off a football tee, adding considerable distance. • Mustang swimmers will wear those inflatable Water Wings on their arms, meaning they don't have to worry about staying afloat, and can put all energy into forward propulsion. • Tennis teams become dominant at the net after unveiling new racquets that look like a surfboard with a grip. • SMU golfers start closer to the greens than opponents after they start firing their tee shots out of those t-shirt launcher guns.
Re: What else will Orsini change?
I agree, classic and traditional. You won't see Charlie Weis put in a script ND
