What's next?

You think there is any chance we can get him to lose that "Copeland" new SMU font/logo? Our traditional lettering was classier. This new cr@p even more seems to mark us as a lower-tier program. As long as we're trying to return to prominence.... :)

The logo looks very NFLEurope, but I heard the school paid a lot to some advertising firm to come up with that thing. I highly doubt it's going anywhere.

As for other changes we might see from Steve-O:

• Cleverly disguised elevator shoes for the volleyball and basketball teams, so everyone can spike or dunk with ease.
• SMU goal kicks (that's soccer) will be taken off a football tee, adding considerable distance.
• Mustang swimmers will wear those inflatable Water Wings on their arms, meaning they don't have to worry about staying afloat, and can put all energy into forward propulsion.
• Tennis teams become dominant at the net after unveiling new racquets that look like a surfboard with a grip.
• SMU golfers start closer to the greens than opponents after they start firing their tee shots out of those t-shirt launcher guns.

I agree, classic and traditional. You won't see Charlie Weis put in a script ND
