They'll kiss his [deleted] and then when he's off the air they'll say how crappy SMU is and how we'll never come back.

Thanks for the sunshine.

You need to remember that MD was a basketball analysis before the UCF job. The man knows basketball and his face being all over the airways, especially in front of basketball fans, will only help SMU with recruiting and even better, attendance. Who cares what is said off camera, as long as he keeps us in the media, it is good.

1310 is radio, not TV. ;)

Say what??

I'm ripping the ticket dude. MD being everywhere is greatness and nothing that the Tubby would have done ever. The Ticket (hardline, musers, etc) hate SMU and always will.

I misinterpreted your comment. I read it like "Why is MD doing this stuff, because, they will only keep saying how bad SMU is." My interpretation was incorrect.

I love the job MD is doing with the local media. I watched the sports talk program before the Mav's game last night and the first 3 minutes after the introdution of MD was all about the SMU program. The building of the practice facility, the current facilities, the school and the basketball program. Nice pictures of Moody, the running mustangs, the current locker room (which on camera looks really nice, just small).

This is exactly what we have needed, local media exposure. If you want our coach to interview and analyze, then you must let him talk SMU, and this is exactly what is happening.

I hope somebody asks him the status of the NCAA investigation of the SMU basketball program's alleged rules violations.

I hope it is never mentioned again.
