Last night on Channel 52 (22 on Comcast in Plano) Matt was the featured guest on the Sports Report. The sportscaster was bonkers about the
Doh hire and the great things happening at SMU - Matt said the $12mil
was very close to being in the bank and that construction on the practice facility would start this summer.

I have never seen a sportscaster so enthusiastic about SMU roundball and about the direction of the university. Great video shots of various campus garden spots and of the Mustangs statue and Moody Colliseum. Host was saying that all should jump on the Mustang bandwagon and watch the fun happen as we turn things around. Good job Doh.

Matt, who is reputed to do his own research, even surprised the announcer by asking him why he didn't have his purple shirt on because he knew he was from K-State.

The host said Matt would be on tonight (Thurs) for a whole hour from a temporary stage in front of the entrance to the Amer Airlines Center - discussing the Suns/Mavericks game - so tune in - not sure what time it actually airs on Channel 52 - but probably 6:30 or 7pm.

The man is everywhere!

Who was the Channel 52 host who was all fired up about him?

I had never watched this sportscaster before - but looked in when I heard that Coach was going to be a guest.

His name as I said in the heading is Brady Tinker. He appeared knowledgeable but the thing that impressed was his enthusiasm for
Coach and for SMU. He was genuinely excited to have Doh on with him and couldn't say enough nice things about SMU

Goofy name, but Tinker is pretty sharp. He's a hell of a lot better than the Dale Hansens of the world.

I am angry. My buddy works behind the camera on that show, called me a couple days ago to verify this recording they had was actually the correct SMU fight song, but didn't mention this was why.
