to win some basketball games and go deep in the NCAA tournament. Because you guys have a great coach that will undoubtly put you on the basketball map. Just give him support, resources, and have patience and watch your program blossom. He will bring both tireless recruiting and excellent teaching. Carolina was a tough place for him but that does not mean he is not loved by all. It seems, given his blog, that he taken his lumps and grown stronger. So, get ready for some big time basketball in the next few years. I say in 4 -5 yrs you guys are in the elite 8.

Will be great to watch you guys stick to Texas and Texas Tech.

The Tar Heel nation will be watching and supporting you guys. See you in the tournament!!

Thanks for your support. I'm excited that we were able to attract Coach Doherty to our little school in Dallas. We have nowhere near the basketball tradition that y'all have in Chapel Hill, but we've had better years than the last few. I think Coach D is the right man to resurrect the SMU program.

My kid got to meet Coach Doherty at the basketball camp he held on campus two weeks ago. Said he was a great guy!

Tar Heel Fans,

The support is appreciated, Doherty is gonna do wonders at SMU, if he can get the support. I am going to be a student next year at SMU and I plan to get lots of students to start going to the games. It is nice to here someone else with the same opinion on Doherty as me.

By the way, you guys should have an awesome team next year. Three solid freshman coming in who will play right away to add to what you already had, simply amazing. I can't wait to watch you guys next year.
