We are missing a good topic here...

what happened?

A slew of personal attacks on coaches, players and PF.com posters. It went from coherent discussion to unfounded attacks. Wasn't possible to edit just a couple of posts -- the topic was ignored in favor of a cavalcade of verbal assaults.

I'm not so sure you shouldn't consider banning posters, since this has recently become such a problem.

Banning posters doesn't work very well since all you need to do is change your posting name and change your email to a free email account somewhere else and whammo, you're back. Of some can come back after they change their email provider. I still think we have posters here who have several names and argue with themselves using different persona. Unfortunately we all suffer when a few abuse the privilege of using this site.

I guess I didn't read the last few posts on personal attacks.

Anyway, the subject was Coach D violations....comments/concerns? anyone heard what those might be?

I think the X-man covered most of the past history with Tubbs and we can let that stuff go completely and move on. SMU screwed up on many fronts.

I am hoping we can get through the season without any other problems or issues.

Who was the culprit? My internet provider went on the D.L.

I think that when the mods delete a topic, they should at least tell us the names of the culprits (hopefully with the offending passages quoted) so the PF community can heap scorn (or appreciation) on them for their role in having the topic removed...

Yeah, right.
Clever idea, though.

That would get the thread deleted and the circle would never end.

I would be interested to read what got deleted, but as stated, it would be rather pointless to repost what got deleted. Maybe a locking option, instead of only deleting threads?
