Just a shot in the dark...I recall Coach saying (during his press conference) that he didn't watch one game of ours from last season except for one...It was half a game where he was watching a potential transfer...Any ideas???
Who did we play last year that has a possible transfer?

Maybe Brian Morris was the potential transfer

Posted: Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:11 pmLocal Okie St. recruits that are no longer on the roster include Roderick Flemings (class of 05, 4 star SF from Desoto) and Gary Flowers (class of 06, 4 star SF from Lincoln). I think Flemings had grade issues, but not sure about Flowers. I know we were recruiting him out of HS.
Posted: Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:24 pmFlemings transferred to NTSU-OSU reportedly refused to release Flemings to SMU because of alleged tampering of Tubbs through intermediary presumably his Mom. Flowers had to go through a Houston diploma mill to get eligible. Doubt he could get into SMU.

That's was my thinking...I couldn't image a same conference transfer...But what person who is transfering would actually see any gametime? You have got to play to be watched...

Posted: Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:53 pmThat’s right. Flemings was going to transfer to SMU but ended up at NT and Flowers had the grade issues. Interesting to note that Flemings is not on the current NT roster. Does he have to sit out this year?
