I was very impressed with Coach D at last night's game. Lots of interaction with the students before and after the game. He went and talked to the band pre-game and the cheerleaders pre-game. This guy understands what it takes to win and get the student support (and bodies) at the games.

I thought it was way cool that he would go over and talk to the band and cheerleaders. His campaigning to the students is obviously working, because that was a GREAT student turnout. He's made a believer out of me.

Loved how, after the teams shook hands at the end of the game, the students started chanting Coach D's name, and basically mobbed him as the team walked off the floor, trading high fives with him. Very cool!

The masks are great. Some folks in my office think sports are silly (idiots), so there will be a Coach D mask over my desk by tomorrow.
