...like most of us, I assumed this was something SMU & the Ticket came up with for football broadcasts, and then the same concept was tranferred to the KAAM broadcasts. They use the same intro, theme music sounds just like the Ticket's theme music, etc.

So, it was surprising this weekend in North Carolina when I found Wake Forest's broadcast of the ACC championship game. Same Ticket theme music, broacast team was the same formula(play by play guy plus a homer), and it was the "Demon Deacon ISP Network."

Every time they came back from a timeout, after hearing the theme music I kept expecting to hear Rich Phillips welcoming the audience back.

Too bad the basketball games aren't on the ticket.
