Unfortunately, our RPI will probably drop over the next 3 games win or lose because the week teams will drag down our SOS.

If we could keep playing NAIA teams we should be #1 in a couple of months and lock up a #1 seed in a bracket division 8) .

Ok, so what is making us ranked so high in RPI? Is there some dumb equation they use?

25% our winning pct
50% our opponents winning pct
25% their opponents winning pct

They also do some adjustments based on home/road/neutral sites, but that is the basic formula.

Dayton, FSU, and Illinois St. all have high winning pcts., and the NAIA games don't count, so we are over-inflated because we have played so few games.
