Anyone ready for us to play again?

This 10-day layoff is irritating with so much time between games. But I hope the players did well on their exams and everybody is academically OK to play for the spring semester.

We need to play with some fire, intensity and hutzpah against PV, something we lacked against Paul Quinn and Texas College.

I am still curious as to why the women did not have to take off for exams.

Well, I think they had a week and didn't play until Saturday against UNT. Usually, the exam schedule runs through Saturday. So they were probably good to go.

I've been ready since the last game. I would just like to get through the cupcake part of the schedule unscathed then beat TCU and OU. Then I will start to get excited that this team might go somewhere. Yes, I realize TCU is horrid and OU is pedestrian, but at least I know where those schools are located.

If the Ponies beat OU, I'm going to have a rough time at work -- my boss is a Sooner fanatic.
I think that's a risk I'm willing to take!

That being said:
as a mustang fan wouldn't you still be shocked if we beat TCU and OU? I would be surprised if we beat one. I've been a stang fan for a while. Why all the sudden would this team play to their potential or, god forbid, win when they're supposed to? I'll be a true Doherty believer if they do though.
