Women's basketball faces No. 25 Arkansas tonight

The women's basketball team plays at No. 25 Arkansas at 7 p.m. today (KKGM-AM 1630).

It's the first time SMU has faced a ranked opponent since an 80-45 loss at Oklahoma in Nov. 2005. Arkansas' (9-1) only loss was against No. 2 North Carolina.

SMU (6-2) has won two straight, but will be without starting guard Sharee Shepherd. The 5-10 junior, who is averaging 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds, has been suspended one game for a violation of team rules.

I just saw that the women's team faces #4 Duke in a couple weeks!! I wonder how badly we'll get beat in that game?
