Me too,

An afternoon game is perfect....leave Dallas around 11am....catch the Ponies play, then get in a few hours of gambling and come back Sunday.

Plus the "Gold Dome" they play in looks really funky and would be quite an experience 8) .....looks like your in a giant beehive.

Is Centenary really called the "Gents"?

Actually, it is the Centenary Gentlemen. Gents for short. The Gold Dome is a great intimate forum for a basketball game. I once saw Robert Parish and the Gents beat Indiana State with Larry Bird there. Sat right next to the inbounds line. One could get that close at one time. IF one desires, there are some great greasy spoons right around the corner from the Gold Dome (George’s where VP Dan Quayle once ate) and Strainds (unbelievable homemade pies) and Murrell’s (best chicken fried steak around). Oh yeah, and there are always the boats. Wish I could make it.
