Doherty said he was pleased with Wednesday's holiday attendance of 1,350. "I thought we had a pretty good crowd, considering we're playing just before Christmas, [and] we have no students here," he said. "To have 1,300 [fans] against a team that was 1-6 coming in - I was really thankful that the fans were there, and that [SMU Mustang] band really adds a lot."
Hopefully we had a little to do with that. THanks to all the PonyFans who showed up. Remember, our next (and last) $1 ticket night for the season will be January 10th. Come check out the new million dallah score board, and join us for some celebratory adult beverages at Manny's Uptown after the game. Let's get a better crowd this next time.
