Rats,
I was hoping it was going to be fully functional so we could get the full experience of it, oh well, could be interesting, I predict a few "Spinal Tap" moments will occur tonight

It's HUGE. Completely dominates the building. From behind the bench, on the floor, where we sat for the women's game today, it was a long neck stretch to see it. From the permanent seats, the video should be great.

The new scoreboard is AWESOME. I can't believe the roof can hold it. I can forgive the fact they didn't have the video going. Hopefully, it will be soon.
BUT you would think they would train thier guys on how to use the darn thing. In both games, there were many stoppages of play to fix issues with the game clock and shot clock. In the women's game, they didn't post the time outs left. In both games, they got behind putting in the players so there'd be players stats listed who weren't in the game for a while.
It's a great addition to Moody. But it'll be even better when they figure out how to use it.

I talked to the guy that was running the scoreboard between games yesterday. He said that the new scoreboard is supposed to plug into the stats computer and take the info from there, but that wire isn't run yet. (They lost three days of installation time with the Hunt memorial). He said he was having to put all that info up there in addition to keeping the clock and score up. I told him I was pretty darn impressed that he was able to keep up as well as he did. That's probably what the "statistical" part of the SMU release meant. But, like you said, it was awesome to see and I know it will only get better in the upcoming weeks.
