Just thought you guys would be interested to know that we picked up a whole new carload of merchandise for The Spirit Shop. Just for grins, I'm going to post up one new item every day this week in the hope that it'll entice you folks to click over and check out our merchandise. http://www.ponyfans.com/catalog/

Since it's cold outside, today's item is a really nice, HEAVY sweatshirt. Grey with a sewn-on SMU and Peruna logo applique (red outlined in navy).

A number of folks have asked me if we have any more car flags. Well, we found a box of about a dozen. So that's today's featured item. I was impressed by the quality of these flags. The window mount has a rubber pad on it, and the flag material is a very heavy satin (I'm sure it's not, but that's what it feels like). Very good looking and presumably very durable. Only $12.95

This is a very cool baseball cap. What make it a bit unique is that it has a sewn-on embroidered mustang logo (navy outlined in white) that has so much thread in it, it's almost like a bas-relief. Also, this cap doesn't have a traditional clasp adjustment in the back, but uses the 1-Fit system (kind of a one size fits all concept). Probably not a good choice for kids or smaller ladies, but it works great for mid-sized to large individuals (I have fairly substantial cranial girth, and it fits me just fine). One of the nicest, understated hats he have. http://www.ponyfans.com/catalog/

I run long distances and I'm interested in a SMU Dri Wick shirt, not so much a thin strap shirt but short sleeve T-shirt. Not white but Red or Blue with SMU lettering. would wear it proudly if I get into the NY Marathon next year.

sort of this this

Also, will you be getting any women's apparel? My woman likes apparel.

It's about to get cold folks, so in deference to the impending arctic blast today's featured item is.... drum-roll please....

The Pony Tuque (a.k.a. knit/wool cap to us Texans)

Whatever it's called, this item will definitely keep your pony ears warm. Navy wool cap with pony logo embroidered in red (outlined in white) on one side and "SMU" embroidered on the other. Only $11 to prevent frostbite. That's a heck of deal, so check it out. http://www.ponyfans.com/catalog/

Wow, lots of questions. O.K., here goes...

alldallasfan,
We have a number of items in the XL-XXL range. For T-shirts, all we've uncovered so far are the SMU Football T and the SMU arched letters T. But we have a lot of good looking XL and XXL shirts in the Men's Apparel dept. We'll try to get more T-shirts linked up as the weather warms.

On a side note, some clothing is obviously men's, some obviously women's, but most (like golf shirts and jackets for instance) go both ways. Often, I just put small and medium sizes in Women's Apparel and L, XL, and XXL in Men's Apparel. So if you're a guy looking for smaller sizes, also check under Women's Apparel (and vice-versa of course).

Bubba,
The only Dri Wick shirts we have are:

and

Regrettably, we only have the Nike Dri Fit in XL. But, if you're an XL, it's an awesome shirt. I bought one to use when I race my sailboat. I think I may have to get another. If we are successful selling merchandise on PonyFans to the point where we want to continue, this'll be one of the first items I order because they are REALLY nice. They look great too.

mrydel,
Here's an item for your woman. We only have one.

Also, check out the women's section under sportswear:

I know that's not the greatest selection, but we'll be getting more stuff out of storage soon.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

My PonyFans.com golf shirt is an XL, and it's great. Looks great, fits great, really comfortable. And .... (drumroll please), I have hit a hole-in-one while wearing my XL PonyFans.com golf shirt. I've also buried a lot of shots into the trees and shattered a living room window on a house by the fairway, and I've nearly killed countless people (usually a couple of fairways over) and animals while wearing it, because let's face it, I'm a terrible golfer, but I have hit a hole-in-one while wearing it.

It had to be because of the shirt.

Good catch, sir. Let's try that again:

I've nearly killed countless people (usually a couple of fairways over) and animals with the errant drives I have hit while I was wearing the PF.com golf shirt.

I have lived my life enjoying dangling participles since Groucho said in response to "I shot a lion in my pajamas", "How did the lion get into your pajamas?" It certainly was not a criticism, merely a jest. By the way, if you ever want to play golf together, I can assure you I could make you feel better about your game.
