SMU TO DEDICATE NEW VIDEO/SCOREBOARD ON JANUARY 10
Ceremony set for halftime of SMU-Southern Miss C-USA opener

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU will dedicate its new video and scoreboard on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at halftime of the men's basketball game in Moody Coliseum.
The new Daktronics scoreboard is 17 feet high by 25 feet wide with eight-by-12-foot video boards on all four sides. The new board also displays player statistics and is part of an complete arena upgrade that will be on-going.
At halftime of the men's Conference USA opener against Southern Miss, President R. Gerald Turner, Vice President Brad Cheves and Director of Athletics Steve Orsini will dedicate the new video and scoreboard and thank the contributors that made it a reality: Suzanne and Bill Hutchison, B.R. and Denny Holman and Sandy and Chuck Hutchison.
"When we sat down to create an improvement plan for Moody Coliseum, we immediately recognized a need for a new video and scoreboard," said Orsini. "Amenities such as this new scoreboard greatly enhance the fan experience. I'm very proud of the product we now have in place and want to thank the Hutchisons and Holmans for their generous donations that made it a reality."
