I just want to point out

that despite the fact that we lost, it was nice being able to watch the SMU-Memphis game. I was in McAllen (sorry I didn't get a chance to look you up, RGV Pony) and caught the game while eating at Red Robin (or is that restaurant in Pharr?).

That being said...from what I saw it seems like Doh has this team pointed in the right direction. We knew this season was going to be tough but if we are patient with Doh, I think he can get the job done here.

Red Robin's in Pharr...decent burger selection. While you were in the Valley, I was in east Texas and then over to Dallas to make use of my Mavs seats for once. When I left my hotel room Saturday morning, the Ponies were down 23-19. Next TV I was in front of, the halftime score was 46-26.

Memphis went on a crazy run and played decent offense but the story was that we couldn't do anything on the offensive end. Even when we penetrated the Tigers defense we would miss the shot. Turnovers also killed us

I get confused on how the city borders work down in that area. If I'm not mistaken, from Red Robin if you go south then turn right at the next stoplight, you are in McAllen...reminds me of how the Metroplex is. The RGV has really grown a lot. Oh, and Red Robin has some good Cajun shrimp.

How was your trip to east Texas, and did the Mavs win? I would assume so, considering they have the best record in the NBA. If only we had some of those wins.
