Good grief

Noon on a game day and not a single post on the basketball message board? Damn that's sad.

Okay, I'll bite. Beating UTEP in El Paso is a tall task. Given that we are without some starters and now Epps is gone that bench is getting pretty thin. UTEP is 5-7 in conference we're 3-9. My guess is that we won't win, but will keep their score under 70. In other words, it will be a low scoring game.

So you had no game-related post to offer, either?

Of course I did. I said it was game day. That got the whole thing started.

Why, its only 57-39 UTEP five minutes into the second half?

Matt said we had no fight, and the effort was poor. He said it was one of the worst loses he has ever been a part of. Who knows why these guys would go out there, and lay down for an average (at best) UTEP team. It's hard to figure, but very very disappointing.

This basketball season can't be over soon enough......let's hope that Doh's recruits are ready to play next year as it is hard to see any returning players as "starters" next year........
