SMU Women's BBall Signees are......
Posted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 1:39 pmState Champs and State Tournament MVP's!!! Congrats to Haley Day (5A-Rockwall) and Lala Hill (4A - Ft. Worth Dunbar) on their state titles. Most impressively, both were named tournament MVP's for their stand-out performances in the tourney. Rockwall finishes a perfect 40-0 this year and are currently ranked #3 in the nation. With no Seniors on this years team, and with an extremely talented duo coming in next year, the future is bright for the women's program. These two kids are fantastic signings for SMU. Suffice to say the move to Conference USA is definitely paying dividends recruiting-wise for the women's program. Congrats to Haley and Lala.....congrats to the SMU coaches and team!!
