Spirit Groups
Posted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 3:18 pmIn addition to the great game and crowd, I just want to say how cool it was to see the all-girl (plus one guy) cheer squad on the floor last night. They all looked excited to be there and they looked great in their classic, dark blue uniforms.
I assume the coed squad was at the women's tournament? Whatever, it was great to see a bunch of attractive girls in blue SMU cheerleader uniforms.
The pom squad looked good, too. That bedazzled blue halter with the red band underneath is their best uniform top. The others look kind of cheap.
Both spirit groups looked great on TV and made SMU look big-time, too. Schools that have their act together with their spirit squads usually have their act together everywhere else.
