PPV video is working and looking good. The announcers don't give us much of a shot...lets prove them wrong!

11-9 USM, SMU started a little slow, but Killen just got a nice steal and Ponies coming back....suprisingly playing man to man defense.

SMU down 14-9 at first media timeout....they seem to be a little three happy early and they aren't falling, need to work the ball inside and drive to the hoop...

14-14 at under 12 timeout and Pearson will be shooting freethrows for the lead when play resumes....SMU looking much better now...good to see Bamba and Roberts both playing and they have both scored....SMU went back to the familar zone and it seems to be bothering USM

Not a good 4 minutes there...USM is scorching the nets from 3 and SMU can't buy a bucket despite good looks....
SMU down 6 25-19 and USM will be shooting free throws after the timeout.

28-23 USM at under 4 timeout...Pearson will be attempting to complete a 3 point play after the break....Hopefully we weathered the bad stretch and can get it tied or take the lead before half time.

32-28 USM at half. SMU is not playing bad but freethrows were a killer...SMU only 4-8 from the line.
USM won't hit threes like that in the second half...I like our chances....SMU needs to stick with the zone to avoid foul trouble.
EDIT and to quantify the FT woes, 2 of the 4 misses were front end of 1 and 1's

Are we in danger of having guys foul out early like the other night against Memphis?

Really need Derrick Roberts to get hot. He had a disappointing start. Especially compared to other games he returned to after a layoff.
