Gotta keep in mind that these ranking are only for current sophomores, not all years.

i bet he's gonna show up weighing about 290 and bully cusa into submission. then, because he's still a near secret, the mavs will trade their 3 second round picks to draft him in the late first, and he'll solve all the mavs inside post provlems with 27 pts per game. his rookie year. yeah! that's the ticket.

Its hard to build a 7+ foot big man. Doherty knows what Bamba needs to get to the next level. If Bamba takes it in, puts on weight, he could very well be in the NBA. Of course he needs to stay healthy and eligible.

He does nto have the body to gain much weight - the NBA does not need another stick man.
That said - he can be very effective in CUSA.
Bamba going to class

I saw Bamba on the campus yesterday and checked into a few things.
There has been a rumor saying that he was not happy here - he says
he is very happy here. His hometime friend Papa is here now - he
sees Diop of the Mavericks - and is looking forward to the coming season.
I asked him if Papa could play and he says that Papa will be very good.
He said he is lifting weights regularly and working out on the floor.
He doesn't appear to be any heavier - but - he was on his way to
eat! and I said eat-eat-eat-eat - etc.

I'm glad you did not offer to buy him a hamburger. Was his laundry clean?

No more burgers and Cheer for him. He likes Quizno's and Downy now.
