•Orsini took over at SMU with the men's basketball program in the midst of an NCAA investigation of which the findings have yet to be finalized and disclosed.

"We have heard nothing but positive things about the outcome of it, but it's not been official yet," Orsini said.

Kate had your back and inquired about your favorite topic in the Orsini article. Seems like after all the discussion over this they will have to come out and say something at some point about the NCAA findings.

Also, has it been considered that perhaps the findings have been kept private for the benefit of Coach Tubbs? The university or any ruling body does not have to release information that would be detrimental to the party affected. If Coach Tubbs is happily employed elsewhere, if the SMU community (for the most part) has happily moved into the Doherty area, and the SMU administration says that only posative things have been found but does not release them, then maybe they don't need to be released.

that's not correct when you say "any ruling body". Every state school has to release that information after the inevitable Freedom of Information Act request and every school has to release the findings of the NCAA. And if there were serious violations against Tubbs he will be summoned to appear before the NCAA or face sanctions as a Coach by the NCAA even after his firing.
