I will miss the pony at halfcourt, but don't have a problem with the change there.

I liked what Sweet said about our logo. It will be the same for all sports. Thats got to be a first at SMU.

Hopefully they will also re-paint the area behind the student section (where the advertisements are) as it has always looked more purple than blue. The court looks outstanding! How old is the court in Moody? I thought that we were going to get a new floor instead of just re-stain and paint.

Replacing the hardwood floor (completely) is rarely necessary under ordinary circumstances. You may have to address dead spots or specific areas where there is damage. I know there have been roof leaks in Moody from time to time that may have caused sections of the floor to buckle, but barring a major flood, the floor oughta be okay. I know you can "take it down to the wood" only so many times, but I think there is a little "thickness" left.
