SMU Tip Off Classic just a little more than a month away....

We need to all adopt Paul Quinn as our second team since they will be playing just as many games in Moody as us through the new year.....

I would rather watch Paul Quinn 5 times before the new year rather than endure another football game

Go Ponies!

you are absolutely crazy. I would rather watch an entire season of Utep like games in football than one SMU blowout of Paul Quinn in basketball. And I call myself hoop fan. thats how much we shouldnt be playing Paul Quinn college.

Not if your boy Tubbs was still coaching. You'd be happy to see an opposing coach in our gym that you didn't wish was on our sidelines.

I would just as soon pass on watching SMU blow a 21 point lead and lose in overtime 12 straight times if its ok with you..but if you want to watch an entire season of that...knock yourself out

well, not exactly. And i wouldn't call what the basketball team did last year overachieving by any means.

Maybe. But I don't think they would have sniffed 14-17 under Tubbs last year.

I agree that with that schedule, nothing less than a winning record could be considerd "overachieving", regardless of what talent you have. However, I would still say it was a solid job considering the circumstances.

I am really excited to see the new influx of talent this season. Not sure that we will be all that good with so many freshman, but at very least we should be much more exciting to watch and won't be getting outathleted all over the floor like last year.

nothing is impossible with creative scheduling.

Just keep in mind that CUSA teams asks its BB teams to win 70 percent of their non-conference games. And I'm sure that schedule will look tougher in 08-09.

Agreed. I can't believe we are paying what we do for season tickets to watch NAIA basketball.

This schedule is weak. Makes it tough to get terribly excited about the games. But I'm looking forward to seeing how Doh cultivates the freshmen.
