I'm hoping to see Bamba take all his height and becoming a rebounding and layup machine. The talent's there, and I think Coach Doh is just the right guy to put it all together. Give em Hell Mustangs!

I'm hoping this is a break out season for Fall.
Its time for him to take the next step & really be the main focus of this years team.
If Spencer develops like we hope than he & Fall should provide a solid frontcourt duo. If Papa can contribute than the 3 of them could turn this years biggest weakness into a plus.
Look for Malone to be the jewell of the freshman class.

I don't know why I keep thinking this but...

Something tells me Bennie Rhodes is going to be our star freshman this year...I have nothing to back it up other than his high school numbers and the competition he played against...

Officially going on record 10/8/07...

I've been thinking the same thing about bennie...cause hes a tall guard that hails from T-Mac's alma mater and I'm from Houston. So in my eyes, every big guard from Oakland that plays for SMU is a future star.

Speaking of Bennie, have you noticed all the recruiting from Calif.
Just speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the recent committments from Calif aren't friends or AAU teammates of Bennie.

bamba and papi. I like the potential, but lets hope they both don't have chronic back issues. i hear papi might have been damaged goods. I sure hope not.

For what it's worth, I hear Bamba Fall finally is putting on a little weight. When he arrived, he was listed at 210 — a very generous estimate. Rumor has it he was closer to 195 or so. I hear he's "a legit" 220 now and much, much stronger.

Thank you, Vic Viloria (and staff).

I always see at least one or two of the players staying late after Friday practice (they have it in the student center now) to work on his jumper. Makes me glad that coach has instilled a sense of duty in them.

Still think Bamba should be forced to eat an order of Snuffer's Cheese Fries 3 times a week. That will help fatten him up.

Three times a week? Heck, I ate them three times a day and I am proof you can add weight to a skinny frame on the Snuffer's diet...

I don't want to fatten him up, I want to muscle him up.

I'll take a little of both...Bamba has been tossed around like a rag doll in the paint...A little meat would do him good...
