DALLAS (SMU) --- The SMU men’s basketball team will embark on a 15-day basketball trip to Africa from May 25 to June 8, 2008. The games include a matchup against the Senegalese national team.

Wow,

How exciting that must be for the players. Once in a lifetime opportunity that many at other schools will be envious of.

Maybe the next Hakeem is over there somewhere and Doherty can bring him back, should definitely open up another recruiting avenue.

every NCAA team is allowed to take an international tour every 4 years. Hardly Dement genius. Every school does it. SMU did it under Dement.

No, I'm sorry. I was asking Stallion how many NCAA teams go to Africa for on their frequent international tours.
