...according to Rich Phillips. Evidentally a redshirt year is also being contemplated for Bennie Rhodes. Hope we don't have any injuries!

I don't remember seeing Kwiatkowski on the bench tonight either.

Ritter is serving a two game suspension, but I haven't heard anything about Kwiatkowski. Is he the reason that we were recruiting Stutz?

then it very well could've been Kwiat that I saw on the bench and not Ritter. What's Ritter suspended for this time? Stinky feet again?

I believe that Rich Phillips said it was an academic suspension, but I'm not positive.

He seems to have the disposition for it.

I believe Kwiatkowski.was sitting near the end of the bench but did not play. As to Ritter, the 2 game suspension must be Doh imposed. If academic related, maybe he was skipping class or study hall.

Apparently Kwiatkowski is being considered for a red-shirt as well, which would make sense based on reports about him coming out of Prep School.
Still don't understand why this school doesn't utilize JCs more to balance out classes and provide immediate help.
An Ike Ofoegbu would be nice about now.

I think it makes a lot of sense to redshirt some guys if possible. You don't want 7 guys in one class. I'm a little surprised Rhodes is one of them

Rich Phillips indicated that it isn't a definite on Rhodes, yet, but coach Doh is thinking about it.

I got the impression from the DMNs this morning that both Rhodes and Kwiatkowski were being given the option of red shirting and were both still considering it. In any event, if they are not going to play this year or play very little, red shirting makes great sense. We need to balance this thing out so we do not end up again with only 4 returnees.

Bamba managed to contribute about 13 minutes last night due to foul trouble. Not what you want from one of your returning veterans. Could be a long season, but should be fun watching to see if the younsters improve game after game.
