Ponies jump out to 5-3 lead. Should we declare a moral victory?

Dayton grabs the 8-5 lead; that didn't take long

Dayton now up 14-5 after 6 minutes; this is looking more like the team we saw those 1st 3 games

Nice crowd. I think Dayton averages around 11,000 per game which is very impressive.

So does our friend Patton. Malone's going to score a ton of points at SMU. He seemed to be forcing things in the last couple of games, but he has a really nice shot.
Got to get Dia to quit with the fouls. Kid's talented, but he has to be on the floor to learn the college game.

when does the "honeymoon period" end for Doherty? The Paul Quinn game is a "must win" this week!

I was really hoping they would beat the 22 point spread and show big improvement, but it was just more of the same. If they don't beat Paul Quinn and stop the bleeding, this is gonna be a baaaad year.

only way to feel good about this year will be if these guys continue to improve every game and reach a point where they can upset some folks in CUSA play. Of course, it would be nice to win at least 3-4 games during this weak non-conference schedule
