It was nice to see Roberts play like a captain. That was a big jumper he hit in the final minute.
I like what I'm seeing with this team. Maybe it just took four games for Doherty to figure out what combinations to play.

No kidding. This is not the same team in terms of attitude, heart, skill and effort that we suffered through in November. If they continue to play this hard, we will win a few games. Great effort boys!

ditto that, thanks for the win Coach Doh and Mustangs. It always feels good to beat the Frogs, although i was not impressed by their team at all. That program and Neil Daughtery appear to be in trouble. 3 straight losses to SMU...and it could be 6 or 7 real easy I think if they keep Neil around for long.

My thoughts exactly before I came on here. Even Paulus Ritter played a very efficient game. Roberts was our go-to guy tonight, clutch the entire night. Killen played his usual solid game

On his post game show, Doh was raving about Ritter's rebounding and physical presence. Said he effectively shut Kevin Langford out of the game although he still got 14. What a transformation of a guy who has been on suspension most of his SMU career.

Right, Ritter was great. Loved watching him bang the boards and defend like a madman.
Maybe most impressive was Derrick Roberts. He kind of cratered in a couple of the early games  what a great performance he had tonight. Loved the way he scored, fed his teammates, and put his arm around the freshmen when they needed it. Great play tonight, Derrick, and even better leadership
Big thanks to all of the seniors for their performances tonight.
Now beat the hell out of Houston Baptist Sunday!
