George S. Patton heard at the game

When Killen was fouled with 2:52 left, the melodic tones of our own George S. Patton could be heard throughout Moody Coliseum .... and probably throughout Dallas County:

"THAT'S INTENTIONAL!"

Didn't work, GSP, but nice pipes (and yes, you're always being watched).

It was intentional. Killen had a clean break to the basket off the steal and was grabbed.

What more do you need short of being tackled?

Thanks for listening.

I thought it was a flagrant foul myself...

Agreed that it was intentional.
Just thought your outburst was funny!

I know the attendance was about 2,000 -- there were probably 1,200 in there? -- but considering the Cowboys were playing, it wasn't a bad turnout.

I was surprised at the number of Houston Baptist people in attendance especially since HB had no Dallas area players on its roster.

What a gutwrencher, too. That were not playing well today.

(the 'boys)

It was pretty funny seeing everyone at Moody watching the bball game AND receiving 'boys updates from their cell phones. One guy a few rows from me had a television! Another guy yelled out the final score of the 'boys' game.

With as much money as was spent on that monster scoreboard at Moody, you would think it would be possible to flash some NFL scores every once in a while, especially when the home team is playing.

And the scoreboard is very hard to read. The compliance trivia is impossible to read. And that's probably a good thing.

Can we ask for a refund (for the scoreboard)?

It might not have been pretty, but how many of us thought when this team was 0-4 that we'd get back to 4-4? Me neither.

Keep it going, Ponies!

And I would think that in a closer game the kids can learn more things that might pay off later down the road (if not this year, next).

Although, I would like for them to get a big lead and finish the game.....

At that point i was worried, but i hadn't seen them play yet. been to 2 games since, and can say, i wouldn't be surprised if we win the rest of our non-conf games, and do alright in conf.

Dallas County? Try all the way to Longview.
