Q in Memphis Last Night

Posted: Sat Dec 15, 2007 11:28 amPosted: Sat Dec 15, 2007 12:54 pmHe took a bad spill two games ago and had to sit out last game. So this was his first game back after that injury. Eight points in 14 mins, so he'll be back in the regular rotation in no time. Clippers come to Dallas on 12/21.
Posted: Sat Dec 15, 2007 2:09 pmDunleavy raved about Q when I talked to him, and said he could be the most valuable player the Clips have. Then Elton Brand walked by, and he couched it by saying he's "as valuable" as anyone they have. He said something to the effect of Q's flexibility and ability to defend multiple positions allows him (Dunleavy) the luxury of "hiding" players with foul trouble by sticking Q on the guy the other player might otherwise guard. It's been a couple of years since the interview, but Dunleavy sounded like he considers Q a must-have player for the Clippers.
