SMU is leading this one early 7-3. I really like the SMU freshmen, Papa Dia is the exact player that Baylor is missing. CU needs to find a way to get Roby the ball more. Right now SMU appears to be the better team.

Our biggest problem is that we have been unable to put 2 strong halves together. As good as it looks now, there will be times when we struggle with ball handling and struggling looking for shots.
Tied 19-19 after a CU 8-0 run.

It appears from this outsider that you're only problem is freshmen mistakes, but i'm sure ya'll know your team better than I do.

I agree. You just saw the bad Walker pass that was taken in for a layup. Hopefully, next year that doesn't happen.
Buffs 14-0 run ends on Roberts layup
25-21, CU under 8 timeout.

34-23 with 2:30 left. Amazing that Colorado only has 5 fouls. Must be Big 12 refs!

Ritter just got fouled and made 1 out of 2 free throws. Looks like he has a real shiner on his left eye. 36-28 Colorado at the half!

I feel sorry if it is Big XII refs....they are the worst in the country. SMU wins this game in a year or so...

I'm seeing the same thing I saw at Moody last weekend. We don't extend the defense to contest 3-point shots.
I realize in CU's Princeton-style offense that it works off ball screens for 3s from the wing and quick passes to corners for 3s off the baselines but we do not recognize and gave them too good of looks.
Roberts has to be a player in the second half. This is the story of Derrick's career. And I've been a big fan of his over the years.
I don't expect us to win but staying in it would be considered acceptable.

I am very pleased with the positive coverage being given by the announcers. It seems they are almost SMU homers. Definitely pro Doherty.

I think the sideline reporter has the hots for Matt. She's kinda cute.
