Can he actually get up and down the floor?

He gets down good enough to have had more than 10 blocks in their game against Campbell!

From what I saw on ESPN, he's extremely clumsy, but he still makes the other team change their game...there is no such thing as going inside on him. Plus, inbounds plays are extremely simple...toss it way up in the air and he will catch it. Then he will dunk it without even jumping.

This is why basketball is such a farce sometimes. It is simply not always necessary to be athletic to be an impact player on a team. You'll never see a 7 ft or 300 # soccer player.

He got posterized by Hansbrough...

Actually, Akeen Olajuwan grew up playing soccer (goalkeeper) and didn't really pick up basketball full time until he got over here.

Good point; I meant to say a 7 ft or 300 # clumsy soccer player.

Do you think he will get a legit look for the NBA? The size alone might warrant a look....

Nope...contrary to what someone posted above, big men in the NBA really do need to be athletic to survive these days. You can make fun of Shawn Bradley all you want, but for a man his size, he was (somewhat) coordinated. This guy has no coordination. He might get a summer league look, but I highly doubt he'd ever stick on an NBA roster

this guy has nbdl career written all over him just because of his frame. and shawn bradley was never coordinated; take it back before you lose your credibility
