Rompola has 298 career victories. Former men's coach E.O. "Doc" Hayes holds the all-time SMU basketball record with 299 career victories. Rompola is 298-192 in her 17th season at SMU.
The Mustangs (10-4, 0-1 Conference USA) host Central Florida (7-7, 0-1) at 7 p.m. today and host Southern Miss (10-4, 1-0) at 2 p.m. Sunday (ESPN2) at Moody Coliseum.
